1 Who We Are
MSCVL is an independent fitness tracking app for Android. The app is provided as-is with no backend infrastructure, no user accounts, and no cloud sync.

2 Data We Do NOT Collect
- Workout history, sets, reps, and weights
- Exercise performance records (1RM, cardio times, etc.)
- Muscle fatigue and recovery data
- Gym equipment configuration
- App preferences and settings
- Any health data read from Google Health Connect
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, IP address, device identifiers (beyond what AdMob requires — see §4), or any other personally identifiable information.
3 Local Storage
The app uses Hive, an on-device embedded database, to store all workout and configuration data. This data:
- Never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it
- Is not backed up to any cloud service by MSCVL
- Can be deleted at any time by uninstalling the app
Android's standard backup system (Google One Backup) may back up app data to your own Google account if you have that feature enabled in your device settings. That backup is governed by Google's own privacy policy, not ours.
4 Advertising (Google AdMob)
Google AdMob may collect and use:
- An advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID / GAID)
- Device model and OS version
- IP address (to approximate general location for ad targeting)
- App usage signals (ad impressions, clicks)
This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us. Google's privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy
You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time in your Android device settings: Settings → Privacy → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.
5 Health Connect
If you grant permission, the app may read data from Google Health Connect (e.g. heart rate, step count). This data is:
- Read from Health Connect and displayed within the app
- Never transmitted to our servers (we have none)
- Never shared with third parties by MSCVL
You can revoke Health Connect permissions at any time in Settings → Apps → Health Connect → App permissions.
6 Your Data Export
The export feature is available in the app's History tab. Exported files are saved to your device storage or shared to any app you choose. MSCVL never sees or receives those files.
7 Children's Privacy
MSCVL is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this app, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
8 Changes to This Policy
If we ever change this policy in a meaningful way (for example, if we add a new third-party SDK that collects data), we will update the effective date at the top of this page and note the change in the app's release notes.
Because we collect no personal data ourselves, most typical privacy policy changes will not affect you.
